Quilt Kit Request:

Before requesting a kit, have you checked to see if there is a local chapter in your area?  When you work with your local chapter, the quilts that you make stay within your community.  The kits you request must be sent back to headquarters and are distributed nationwide.

There is no charge for the kit or the shipping to you.  The cost of the return shipping of the completed quilt is part of your donation to Quilts for Kids.  If you would like to give more, please feel free to click on our DONATE link.  Your donation is tax deductible.

Quilts must be machine pieced and machine quilted with lots of quilting (not hand-tied or hand-quilted).  Kits include the fabric for the top and backing of the quilt.  You will need to provide the batting (low-loft 1/8” – 1/4” poly or cotton).  The pattern and official Quilts for Kids label is also included in the kit. 

The quilt must be returned within 4-6 weeks as there is a child waiting for your quilt.  Please only request a kit if you are able to complete it within that time frame.  We will be happy to send one to you at a later date when your schedule allows.

For every kit we send out, please include one or more quilts of your own so we can double, triple or even quadruple our efforts to reach more of the six million hospititalized children in need of comfort.
