Quilt Challenge Nets 96 Quilt Tops!
Fast friends, Georgia Chapter Leader, Cheryl Sloan, and Stitch'n Quilt owner, Pat Yearwood, share their enthusiasm for quilting for kids.
When Pat Yearwood’s Stitch’n Quilt Shop in Mableton, GA, issued a quilt challenge recently for the QFK Georgia Chapter, Chapter Leader Cheryl Sloan had no idea what to expect. All she could say was, “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
Cheryl writes, “The Quilt Challenge by Pat Yearwood and Friends at her Stitch ‘n Quilt Shoppe was unbelievable! They prepared 120 kits, and I received 60 completed tops in the mail. Then, while in Atlanta, I had the pleasure of actually meeting Pat and visiting the Shop. Pat had 36 MORE completed tops that had been returned for a total of 96! This is so appreciated by us and will be even more appreciated by the 96 children who receive these quilts made from the adorable donated fabric.”
Cheryl calls Pat’s shop “a candy store for quilters” and invites everyone to visit and support this generous, warm-hearted lady at http://www.stitchnquiltt.com/home.aspx
