Every Penny Adds Up!

A penny may not sound like much, but think about how many times you use a search engine every day.  Each time you use http://igive.com for a search they will give $.01 to Quilts for Kids, and if you make a purchase, the charity gets a bonus.  The giving is funded through their advertisers; it costs you nothing.  Just visit I give, register, designating Quilts for Kids as your preferred charity, and search for stores, for gifts, for keywords, just as you would use any other search engine; click on the link you were looking for, and you will have made your donation.  It all adds up, so tell your friends!

Here’s another opportunity to help:  If you don’t need those “rewards” you receive in the mail from your favorite office supply store, Quilts for Kids will happily take them off your hands.  Maybe you don’t need anything at the moment and won’t use them before they expire, but they help us save on paper, ink cartridges and other office supplies so that more of our monetary donations can go to sending out kits to volunteers…and quilts to hospitalized children.  So, before you toss them, stick those extra “rewards” into an envelope and send them to Quilts for Kids, Inc., 11 Effingham Rd., Yardley, Pa 19067.
