Dedicated volunteers set up, plug in, and get to work!
Since June 2008, Waste Management has been kind enough to donate their conference center in Bucks County (PA) to our volunteer quilters for workshops. As a result of these quarterly events, many hundreds of quilts have been donated to children fighting a life battle at children’s hospitals. January’s workshop saw a gratifying turn-out of more than 40 volunteers, plus a special visit from Brett Frazier, Waste Management Eastern Group Vice President, who welcomed everyone, thanked the quilters for their thoughtfulness, and even sewed a stitch or two!
